Knapp Medical Center and Harlingen Medical Center Health, dental, and vision insurance options Paid vacation, sick time and holidays Bereavement leave, FMLA and other leave options Employer 401K options Tuition reimbursement options Life, disability, and other insurance options Many other amazing benefits Responsibilities The Multi-Facility Food & Nutrition Director is responsible for the overall management of Food & Nutrition Services Department in multiple facilities and/or multiple departments within a region including, administrative, financial, compliance, quality improvement, technical, and personnel activities in accordance with established hospital and department policies and standards. Delegates responsibility for full time daily management of operations to a qualified individual at each site and provides guidance. Ensures the efficiency of food prepared in the department taking into consideration food safety, nutritional adequacy and appropriate patient nutritional care responsible for the development and enforcement of policies and procedures that direct clinical services, food preparation, distribution and service, purchasing, sanitation, safety practices, performance improvement, and staff education and development. Qualifications Registered Dietitian (RD) required Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Food & Nutrition or related field or relevant experience. Two (2) years' experience in the fields of nutrition and food service management required Food Safety Certification from an accredited organization and maintain current Employment Status Full Time Shift Days Equal Employment Opportunity Company is an equal employment opportunity employer.
