At Bialek , we are pioneering tomorrow's workspaces. We are a growing and well-established Woman Owned Rockville, MD based Office Furniture and Interior Modular Construction dealer specializing in commercial, healthcare, government, and higher education environments. With primary manufacturer lines such as MillerKnoll (furniture) and DIRTT (architectural walls), along with 200+ other manufacturers, Bialek creates inspiring workplaces across various industries.
About You:
We are seeking a motivated and organized Program Manager to serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day project activities in healthcare facility environments. Someone who will coordinate and manage the design and execution of furniture projects of varying size and complexity from beginning to end. This is an all-encompassing position, requiring a multi-faceted individual with a passion for leading projects This individual will coordinate communication between end users, designers, and facility representatives to ensure projects are completed efficiently, accurately, and on schedule. The ideal candidate also brings a proactive, sales-minded approach, identifying project opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and supporting sales goals through strategic engagement with healthcare partners. This role will require frequent travel to various project sites within Northern Virginia hospital system.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct onsite visits to healthcare facilities to attend project meetings and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Meet with end users to gather detailed programming information and relay it accurately to designers for project development.
  • Serve as one of the main points of contact for facility stakeholders to discuss project scope, progress, and deliverables.
  • Manage projects from inception to completion; ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries, providing updates and resolving issues as they arise.
  • Actively participate in meetings, planning sessions, and project related activities.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to support revenue targets by tracking project pipelines, pursuing new business within the account, including day-two business and cross-selling additional product lines, and contributing to overall sales performance goals.
  • Works closely with Sales, Designers, Client Services, Project Coordinators, Project Managers, and Accounting to ensure seamless project execution while maintaining a strong sales-forward mindset.
  • Tracks pipeline activity, forecasts revenue within assigned account, and contributes to overall sales reporting and goal attainment.
  • Acts as a brand ambassador and advocate for both the company and the client, ensuring long-term partnership and repeat business.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of Furniture Design is required
  • 3+ years Furniture Sales, Interior Modular Construction or Architectural Products Project Management experience preferred
  • Strong product knowledge and application experience.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and manage several projects at one time
  • High sense of urgency
  • Leadership qualities, including a calm rational approach to project coordination and problem-solving, able to execute tasks efficiently and calmly
  • Enthusiasm for face to face client interaction, including learning and making customers happy
  • Good computer skills including MS Office and CRM
  • Competent skills with AutoCAD and/or CET preferred
College Degree Physical Demands:
