Download Leadership Profile The Opportunity Radford University invites applications and nominations for the Associate Vice President for Facilities Management (AVPFM). Reporting to the Vice President for Finance and Administration, the AVPFM leads the strategic and operational direction of a comprehensive facilities division, overseeing building maintenance, utilities, grounds, space management, leasing, and custodial services to ensure a safe, efficient, and high-quality campus environment. Providing executive leadership to multidisciplinary teams, the AVPFM drives continuous improvement that aligns operations with institutional priorities while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and service excellence. The AVPFM partners with university leadership and external stakeholders to develop policies, manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and support long-term planning, including infrastructure capacity and capital initiatives. This role offers a meaningful opportunity to shape the overall campus experience overseeing all aspects of financial management, supporting planning and construction efforts, championing sustainability and efficiency while maintaining high standards in custodial operations and service delivery across the campus.
