Richmond, Virginia, United States Salaried Job Description Warehouse & Facilities Manager Salary (Exempt): $60,000-$90,000 annually Position Summary Old Dominion Mechanical is seeking a Warehouse & Facilities Manager to oversee warehouse operations, inventory, facilities, and fleet management. This position is responsible for maintaining an organized and efficient warehouse, ensuring accurate inventory, managing employees, coordinating fleet needs, and maintaining company facilities. The Warehouse & Facilities Manager works closely with company leadership and other departments to ensure materials, equipment, vehicles, and facilities are available and maintained to support daily operations. Duties and Responsibilities Warehouse & Inventory Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, and distributing materials and equipment. Supervise, train, schedule, and evaluate warehouse employees. Maintain accurate inventory through regular counts and audits. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate material needs with other departments. Maintain an organized and efficient warehouse layout. Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments and deliveries. Ensure warehouse equipment and materials are properly maintained and secured. Facilities Management Oversee the cleanliness, organization, maintenance, and security of company facilities. Conduct regular facility inspections and identify repair, maintenance, and safety needs. Maintain a prioritized list of facility repairs and coordinate completion. Coordinate with vendors and contractors for facility maintenance and repairs. Monitor facility needs and expenses and identify opportunities to improve efficiency. Fleet Management Oversee company vehicles and equipment to ensure they are safe, properly maintained, and available for use. Maintain preventive maintenance schedules and coordinate repairs and service. Monitor vehicle mileage, usage, maintenance, and related records. Coordinate vehicle inspections, registrations, and other fleet requirements. Maintain accurate fleet records and documentation. Help manage vehicle assignments, replacements, and disposal as needed. Safety & Operations Conduct regular safety inspections and address identified concerns. Maintain accurate warehouse, facility, and fleet records. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce operating costs. Work with leadership and other departments to resolve operational issues. Qualifications and Requirements Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and time management skills. Strong leadership and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks. Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, facilities, and fleet operations. Proficient with Microsoft Office or related software. Self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to train, supervise, and hold employees accountable. Must be able to pass post-offer, pre-employment screenings. Must adhere to all company policies and procedures. Education and Experience Minimum of Five years of warehouse management experience required. Experience with facilities and/or fleet management preferred. Construction, HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, or electrical industry experience preferred . Work Environment Work may be performed indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures and weather conditions. May be exposed to moderate or high noise levels, dust, fumes, and airborne particles. May occasionally work in confined spaces or at elevated heights. Physical Demands Stand and walk for extended periods. Bend, stoop, kneel, climb, pull, push, and reach overhead. Lift and carry materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds . Frequently use hands to handle, manipulate, or feel objects, tools, equipment, and controls. Frequently reach with hands and arms.
