2 Complete Building Services Overview Complete Building Services is seeking a Director of Healthcare Facilities to lead Operational Readiness for the startup of two new acute-care hospitals in Northern Virgina. This role serves as the single point of coordination across all readiness workstreams — from contract start through Day-One activation — ensuring both facilities achieve full TJC and CMS compliance.
Full Time:
40 hr per week Responsibilities Administrative Readiness — Review all Commissioning Reports against design-intent documentation; direct PM library population and CMMS asset-loading, including evaluation of CMMS data extraction to compress development timelines Project Management — Coordinate all readiness workstreams across both facilities; partner with the client on a staffing strategy to backfill existing engineering resources during transition, defining required FTEs and continuity plans Budget Management — Support operating budget development and contract execution; verify maintenance agreement scopes, solicit competitive vendor proposals, and coordinate spare parts and tools procurement Utility Management — Build a verified, code-compliant asset baseline from construction blueprints; develop failure procedures for all essential utilities (Electricity, Water, Gas, HVAC, Boilers, Medical Gases, Generators); establish Elevator Evacuation Procedures and emergency shutoff documentation Regulatory Compliance — Lead CMMS verification as the linchpin of Physical Environment and Life Safety readiness; coordinate egress door compliance (NFPA 101), fire pump acceptance testing, and Medical Gas cylinder storage verification (NFPA 99) Policy & Physical Environment — Verify Confined Space identification, signage, and entry procedures; document Critical Pressure Relationship Areas for Infection Control risk assessment and compliance Facility Turnover — Lead the final construction-to-operations process; assemble and catalog all O&M manuals, As-Built drawings, and Final Commissioning Reports in digital format via Point Systems Verification — Verify cooling towers, boiler chemical feed, domestic water treatment, CSP/Lab/Dialysis Water Treatment systems, Temperature and Humidity Monitoring, kitchen fire suppression, and air filter inventories; establish initial PM schedules in CMMS Qualifications CHC (Certified in Healthcare Compliance) or CHFM (Certified Healthcare Facility Manager) from the American Hospital Association Bachelor's degree in one of these fields is preferred : Project Management Facilities Management Business Administration Engineering Construction Healthcare Administration / Health Services Management IND123 EOE/Disabiltities/Veterans Equal employment opportunity, including veterans and individuals with disabilities.
