Gold Creek Community Church is excited to announce an opportunity to join our growing and thriving team with as the Facilities Director .Summary:
The FacilitiesDirector contributes to the mission of Gold Creek Community Church by overseeing the facilities including day-to-day facility operations,managing staff, volunteers and future planning. In partnership with the church and preschool staff team, this role ensures safe, clean and hospitable facilities for worship, ministry, our preschool, and the daily work environment.Location:
Gold Creek Community Church Mill Creek, WA Provide oversight of Mill Creek Campus facilities and all grounds. Ensure all aspects of facilities management, operations, and physical safety and security, including inspections and supplies. Create and maintain facilities practices and procedures aligned with Gold Creek 's overall Risk Management framework. Develop a long-term plan and priority list for facilities maintenance for both the church and our preschool. Oversee, instruct, train, supervise and evaluate facility-related employees,volunteers, vendors, and contractors. Ensure all employees and volunteers are properly trained in safety procedures. Responsible to collaborate with others. Develop and administer the annual facilities budget with Executive Pastor. Prepare spaces for ministry and events. Work with our preschool Directors to ensure a safe enviorment. Alignment with Executive Staff and Finance on insurance and legal contracts. Participate as a team member of Gold Creek and the Gold Creek Community Church Staff, and perform other duties as the situation arises/assigned by supervisor.POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Maintains a religious life of personal and spiritual development and accountability demonstrating the virtues and qualities of a devoted follower of Jesus Christ. A loyal team player able to make a positive contribution to staff culture that aspires to excellence, teamwork, and servant leadership as demonstrated by Christ. Understanding and alignment with Gold Creek 's values. Ability to keep a customer service and hospitality mindset while working with a diversity of individuals, groups and complex situations. Five years of experience in related work such as facility or property management. Basic knowledge of building control systems (HVAC, fire sprinkler, water supply, security, etc.), utilities, construction, and vehicle maintenance. Knowledge of legal codes and standards (OSHA, L&I, Fire, etc.), preferred. Demonstrated success in a supervisory position. Ability to prioritize workload, meet deadlines and manage many projects simultaneously. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Valid Washington State Driver's License, a satisfactory driving record, and the ability to maintain one throughout employment. Basic computer skills (Google Applications) and ability to learn other software (facility maintenance programs, etc.).OTHER SPECIFICATIONS
Work Schedule :
Typical work schedule is Sunday through Thursday, 40 hours/weekPhysical Demands :
Must be able to move between buildings on campus. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to drive company vehicles. Due to seasonal activity, job duties may often require flexibility to adjust work schedule from time to time. This is a "hands on" position which may require doing room sets, landscaping, maintenance, and janitorial work as well as managing a team and developing and recruiting volunteers.Benefits:
