Job Description

About the Role As a Facility Sanitation Specialist, you will ensure our production environment remains pristine, compliant, and optimized for high-performance operations. You will play a vital role in maintaining food-grade safety standards through meticulous cleaning, chemical management, and facility upkeep, directly contributing to our operational excellence. Responsibilities Execute comprehensive cleaning protocols, including scrubbing, mopping, and disinfecting production zones, labs, and common areas to maintain audit-ready conditions. Manage the safe handling, storage, and application of industrial cleaning agents, ensuring full compliance with safety regulations. Maintain supply inventory levels to ensure uninterrupted sanitation operations and organizational efficiency. Conduct routine facility inspections to identify and report maintenance or safety hazards to leadership. Perform seasonal exterior maintenance, including snow removal and site safety checks, to ensure secure access for all personnel. Uphold strict adherence to GMP and HACCP guidelines to guarantee product integrity and workplace safety. Required Skills High school diploma or GED. Proven ability to follow detailed safety protocols and chemical handling procedures. Strong communication skills with the ability to document tasks and report issues effectively. Physical capability to perform manual labor, including lifting up to 30 lbs and navigating ladders or platforms. Preferred Skills Prior experience in industrial cleaning or food manufacturing sanitation. Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Experience utilizing industrial cleaning equipment and 2-way communication devices.
