Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic facilities team as a Facilities Attendant and play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our premises. This energetic position offers the opportunity to engage in diverse cashier, custodial, security, and maintenance tasks, ensuring that all areas meet high standards of sanitation and safety. As a Facilities Attendant, you will be the backbone of our facility operations, supporting a productive and positive atmosphere for staff and visitors alike. Duties Attend garage booths to assist visitors with validations and take payments from time-to-time Ensure patrons follow proper parking and safety rules with their vehicles Patrols, investigates, and monitors garages and retail center Reports suspicious activites and documents all suspicious activity Escorts unwlecome parties off the premises Contacts police or fire department in case of emergency Assists contractors from time-to-time Maintain overall cleanliness and safety of the facility including office, garages, retail center, and restrooms Perform general repairs and maintenance of the facility Removes trash from trash receptacles and polices facilities for debris and litter Provide excellent guest and tenant service through a secure and well-maintained facility Performs routine and directed grounds and landscape maintenance of the garage and retail facility including snow and ice removal Performs event set-up and tear-down Perform other duties as assigned Requirements Highly motivated self-starter Ability to work as part of a team Good writing and communication skills Ability to learn the layout of the buildings and property Able to lift 50 pounds, walk/stand, twist/bend at the waist most of the day Ability to handle equipment, machinery, and tools Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies Ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations Ability to work a flexible schedule of nights, days, weekends, and holidays Possess a vailid Driver's License Be at least 18 years of age This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to contribute to a well-maintained facility while developing their skills in parking garage and retail shopping center procedures.
