Monday- Friday 8:00 AM
- 5:00 PM.
Salary and Benefits:
This is a full-time, benefited Managerial 2 level position.Starting wage range:

JOB SUMMARY
The Manager, Facilities & Events schedules, coordinates, contracts for, and manages use of college facilities, conference services and associated equipment by campus and off-campus groups; arranges and oversees special events and ensures that all facilities usage is in accordance with college regulations and procedures. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Knowledge Administration and Management- Knowledge of business and management principles involved in operating a self-sustaining auxiliary operation, and coordination of people and resources. Budget Control
- Knowledge of producing, executing and monitoring all budgeting aspects of the auxiliary operation. Systems
- Knowledge of scheduling software systems to effectively operate the business and generate necessary reporting needs. Customer and Personal Service
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing superior customer and personal services such that customers' expectations are met or exceeded. Sales and Marketing
- Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling facility rentals, and the accompanying aspects of catering and audio-visual services. Skills Analytical Business Skills
- Capacity to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions so as to propel the auxiliary operation's financial sustainability. Communication/Interpersonal Skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to interact effectively with others and manage interpersonal dynamics. Computer Software

PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS
There may be occurrences of interacting with employees and/or students, past employees and/or students, members of the general public, and others who express opinions, may exhibit strong emotions, which will require the employee to interact professionally, diplomatically, and appropriately in such situations While performing the essential duties of this position, an employee would frequently be required to move around the assigned work areas as well as within hallways, meeting rooms, and other parts of the campus facilities There may be multiple/daily instances of prolonged sitting, standing, and personal computer use, which would include keyboard and/or mouse usage as well as viewing a computer monitor An employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus The overall work environment requires the mental ability to shift focal point quickly due to interruptions; an employee must be able to mentally track multiple projects and tasking as wellNOTE:

Bachelors' degree from an accredited college or university in a business or a hospitality field of study, or an equivalent framework of relevant facilities and events activities experience Experience in conference development activities Experience coordinating large multi-organizational and multifaceted projects. Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a business or a hospitality field of study, or an equivalent framework of relevant facilities and events leadership experience Experience managing & overseeing conference and event development and executing events and activities.
