1st Shift | Monday•Thursday, 6: 30 AM•5: 00 PM (Overtime on Fridays as needed) Job Summary AtWork Personnel is seeking an experienced Sit-Down Forklift / Reach Truck Operator for a busy warehouse in Huntsville, AL. This position is responsible for safely operating sit-down forklifts and reach trucks to move, load, unload, and store materials while supporting shipping, receiving, and inventory operations. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, dependable, and experienced working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Safely operate sit-down forklifts and reach trucks to transport materials throughout the warehouse. Load and unload trailers while ensuring product accuracy and minimizing damage. Pick and stage orders using RF scanners and warehouse management systems. Move inventory to designated storage locations and replenish stock as needed. Verify product quantities and inspect shipments for damage or discrepancies. Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns. Follow OSHA regulations and all company safety procedures. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Assist with shipping, receiving, and inventory counts as needed. Perform other warehouse duties assigned by management. Qualifications Previous experience operating warehouse equipment Previous warehouse or distribution center experience preferred. Experience using RF scanners is preferred. Ability to safely operate powered industrial equipment. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Dependable attendance and punctuality. High school diploma or GED preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly. Ability to sit, stand, bend, stoop, and walk throughout the shift.
