Job Description
Industrial Centerton, AR 1st Shift $18/Hour Job Details 1st Employment is seeking a dependable and motivated Delivery Driver & Forklift Operator for a client in Centerton, AR. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a combination of driving, warehouse work, and customer interaction. The Delivery Driver & Forklift Operator will be responsible for delivering flooring materials to job sites, operating forklifts, and assisting with warehouse operations while maintaining a high level of safety and professionalism. This is a full-time position with a typical schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Candidates must be flexible, as start times may shift earlier based on delivery needs, and overtime may be required. Key Responsibilities
Safely operate a flatbed delivery truck to transport flooring materials to customer locations and job sites.
Load, unload, and move flooring supplies using a forklift.
Operate a piggyback forklift mounted on the back of the delivery truck.
Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and on-site personnel.
Conduct routine inspections of delivery vehicles and equipment.
Assist with warehouse duties, inventory movement, and material organization.
Follow all company safety policies and transportation regulations.
Ensure deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule.
Qualifications
Valid Driver's License required with a clean driving record.
Forklift certification preferred, or a minimum of two years of forklift operating experience.
Experience operating a piggyback forklift is strongly preferred.
Ability to safely operate a 3-axle flatbed delivery truck.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are encouraged to apply.
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds without assistance.
Strong attendance record and reliability.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and interacting with a variety of personalities.
