You'll be: Working safely in a team and/or individual setting, adhering to all plant health, safety, and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures Wearing required PPE such as hard hats, safety glasses, face shields, chemical suits, respirators, ear plugs, hearing protection, steel-toe boots, and other job-specific protection Loading and unloading raw materials and finished goods per customer and chemical specifications Performing physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing, and pulling for extended periods Operating in outside weather conditions, industrial environments, at heights, and in confined spaces Progressing through training to advance in production, learning to operate and monitor chemical reaction processes Monitoring equipment and performing minor troubleshooting to ensure optimal production and minimal downtime Entering work orders and process improvement suggestions into computer-based systems to help implement improvements Using computers for documentation, including shipping/receiving information and manufacturing processes Utilizing email, Microsoft Office programs, and company intranet for day-to-day communications Reading instructions, manuals, and procedures with comprehension; writing legibly to convey process information accurately Sketching and discussing schematic diagrams of tankage, piping, valves, and other systems related to loading/storage Demonstrating math skills required for the job First Day & Training Computer-based training Review of General Safety Rules Dress Code Long pants required Sleeved shirt required Steel Toes or Composites required Submittal Process Interview will be conducted in-person; candidates must wear composites or steel toes to the interview A resume is required for submittal This job might be an outstanding fit if you: Have previous experience operating forklifts in an industrial or manufacturing environment (preferred) Are comfortable with physically demanding work and can lift up to 50 pounds Are able to work a rotating shift schedule for up to twelve hours a day Possess strong attention to safety protocols and PPE requirements Have basic computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office and email Can read and comprehend instructions, manuals, and procedures Have good written communication skills Are comfortable working outdoors, at heights, and in confined spaces Demonstrate math skills relevant to the role What happens next Once you apply, you'll proceed to next steps if your skills and experience look like a good fit.
