JOB TITLE

LINE FORKLIFT OPERATOR
JOB
PURPOSE AND SUMMARY
This job requires the Forklift Operator to perform the following tasks: To move produce from the production floor to stacking room and then to warehouse to await shipment. To perform general labor To accurately label pallets from production, split pallets if needed, and accurately scan pallets in the correct bin locations. Pre-stage material as needed. To take direction from production manager/supervisor/lead and warehouse manager/supervisor/lead To work in a safe manner Any other task assigned by Leads or Supervisors. Support the review, understanding and compliance of all programs, policies and procedures contained in the Food Safety and Quality Management System. Use handheld scanner to complete inventory moves. And document all moves on batch sheet. Batch sheet to be turned in at end of your shift, DUTIES

% Transfer product from the production floor to the stacking room. Correctly wrap and label pallets, transfer, and scan to racks correctly. Place product in correct bins for storage.10% Keep shrink wrappers clean, production floor clean and in order and clear of debris10% all other duties as assigned by managers, supervisors, and leads

N/A Education Level and Focus:
Proof of high school diploma or equivalent; Willingness to continue education through approved courses or classes that will enhance personal and professional growth.
Years and Type of Related Experience Required:
Some previous work-related skill, knowledge, or experience may be helpful in this occupation. Exposure to manufacturing environment. Forklift experience.

Requires good organizational skills and the ability to perform assigned tasks; requires the ability to accurately use scales and formula information.
Administrative and Operations:
Must adhere to departmental procedures; must also follow all safety guidelines established by the company.
Physical Demands:
Requires walking, standing, and bending; including lifting, not to exceed fifty pounds without a partner. Work Environment Factory environment, cold & wet, icy floors, forklift, and pedestrian traffic. This is a Safety Sensitive Position.
