Job Description:
Production Control Kitter/ Forklift Driver is primarily responsible for operating forklifts in a safe manner to support kitting and production needs. Secondary responsibility is loading, unloading, and moving fabricated materials in a timely manner to designated locations on the production floor. Roles & Responsibilities Maintain Forklift Certification Deliver fabricated palleted material to production floor using forklift. Properly dispose of material waste using forklift Safely perform duties in accordance with company and OSHA guidelines. Load, unload, and move fabricated materials by hand or pallet jack. Sort and deliver fabricated materials to designated production locations. Verify fabricated material quantities are correct and meet visual acceptance criteria. Report any discrepancies to lead or supervisor. Assist in inventory audits, Weigh fabricated material for disposal. Daily 5S sorting and cleanup. Attend daily stand-up meetings. Must be able to work overtime as required. Be able to work independently or in a team environment. Prioritize and manage time efficiently. Other duties as assigned. Working Conditions Commercial/Industrial environment requiring wearing of Personal Protective Equipment Will require time working outside in an excessive heat environment. Qualifications Must have a Valid US Driver License. Previous forklift certification preferred. Forklift spotter training. Operation of manual and electronic pallet jacks. Abe to individually carry and move material up to 35 pounds.
