Shifts Available and Hours:
12-hour Continental Day/Night shift 6:00 AM - 6:00PM or 6PM to 6AM What you will be doing Maintain and stages material with proper paperwork. Check billet/logs availability for daily schedule for due dates. Verifies proper ID & selection of billets/logs for each order. Ensure that racks, skids and baskets are ready for operators. Checks and maintains ovens, loads and unloads ovens, make hourly checks. Has read and understand work instructions for extrusion presses and age ovens. Empties scrap and chip hoppers as needed. Complies with company safety and housekeeping specifications. Responsible for minor maintenance on forklift, checks fluid levels and general condition. Completes "Lift truck operator's daily inspection report." What will make you successful?
Education and Experience Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred. Must be able to understand and deliver basic commands in English. Must read and understand all work and safety instructions relevant to their specific position. Must be able to use and maintain all basic tools and measuring equipment pertinent to their specific position. Must have good driving skills.
