Week of April 20, 2026 Position Summary Desert Chillers is hiring 3 Machine Operators to run and monitor packing and production line equipment at our Tolleson facility. Operators will be assigned to production or packing line machinery and are responsible for keeping equipment running smoothly, adjusting settings as needed, and communicating any issues to the lead or maintenance team. This role requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work at a consistent pace in a fast-moving environment. Prior machine operation experience in a packing shed, warehouse, or food production environment is strongly preferred. Key Responsibilities Operate and monitor assigned packing or production line machinery throughout the shift Set up and adjust equipment at the start of each run — speed, settings, alignments Monitor product flow through the machine and make adjustments to maintain quality and throughput Identify and report equipment issues, jams, or malfunctions to the lead or maintenance team immediately Perform basic pre-operation checks on assigned equipment Keep machine area clean and free of debris throughout the shift Follow all food safety, GMP, and hygiene policies Work closely with lead and other team members to maintain smooth product flow Assist with line changeovers and end-of-shift shutdown procedures Perform other duties as assigned by management Qualifications Prior machine operation experience in a packing shed, warehouse, or food production facility strongly preferred Mechanical aptitude — comfortable operating and monitoring industrial equipment Ability to identify equipment issues and communicate them clearly to the team Ability to stand for extended periods and work at a consistent pace throughout the shift Reliable attendance and punctuality Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing production priorities Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, not required

Compensation & Schedule Pay Rate:

Competitive, based on experience Full-time hours: 6AM-4PM or 8AM-6PM depending on assignment Target start date: Week of April 20, 2026 Work Environment Packing and production facility — fast-paced, hands-on work Standing for extended periods; working around moving machinery Agricultural packing environment — seasonal operation

Pay:

$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
