Forklift Operator/Yard Attendant

The Auction Company is a heavy Construction Equipment Auction looking for an Administrative Assistant professional. The ideal candidate has prior experience with bookkeeping in a fast paced setting, is able to multi-task and problem solve, is a hard worker, and enjoys being part of a team.

Job Description.

Forklift Operator/Yard Attendant Responsibilities:

Operate forklift in dirt yard Load and unload trucks with incoming and outgoing materials and equipment. Check incoming materials for shortages Collect and deliver a wide variety of materials and equipment while adhering to established safety procedures. Deliver materials and equipment to designated areas as directed. Pull pallets and place them accordingly in sale order and to be able to walk around them. Pull material and eqiupment and load trucks as needed. All paperwork must be in order and accurate (ex: shipping documents, receipts, etc.).

Forklift Operator/Yard Attendant Qualifications:

High School Diploma/GED Forklift Certification a plus Ability to use basic computer software Ability to work without close supervision.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to occasionally lift and/or carry up to 60 pounds. Must be able to push and/or pull up to 40 pounds. Must be able to continuously stand and/or walk for extended periods of time on dirt surface. Ability to repeatedly kneel, bend, crouch, reach, climb and/or stoop throughout the shift as needed to successfully perform job duties.
