Warehouse Associate Pay Rate:

$20.00 per hour

Shift:

7:00 am - 4:00 pm

Elk Grove, CA Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and organized Warehouse Associate to assemble, process, and ship customer orders. The ideal candidate enjoys fast-paced work, is detail-oriented, and excels in teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

Assemble and fill orders for shipment to customers or divisions. Load and unload company and common carrier vehicles. Process shipping paperwork, including verifying shipment contents, applying correct postage, and preparing BOL for LTL shipments. Follow customer shipping instructions and arrange for shipment insurance if needed. Use a warehouse management scanner to pick orders and put away received items. Verify orders by counting and checking merchandise descriptions against invoices. Pack orders into containers and arrange on shelves by truck route. Substitute for other warehouse personnel as needed. Operate propane forklifts and manual pallet jacks. Perform other duties as assigned.

Key Requirements:

Ability to communicate and work effectively in a team environment. Strong time management and organizational skills. Excellent attention to detail. General knowledge of electrical products preferred. Ability to meet deadlines and work overtime as needed. Excellent attendance record.

Physical & Equipment Requirements:
