Forklift Operator

Full Steam Staffing is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join the Ready-to-Eat (RTE) Department at a pistachio processing facility in Firebaugh, CA. This position is responsible for transporting materials, loading and unloading products, and supporting production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have previous forklift experience, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to workplace safety and product quality.

Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire (if applicable) Essential Duties & Responsibilities Safely operate forklifts to move raw materials, finished goods, and other products throughout the facility. Load and unload products from trucks, pallets, and conveyors while preventing damage to materials. Transport materials to production lines, workstations, and storage areas to maintain efficient workflow. Monitor inventory levels and assist with cycle counts and inventory audits as needed. Organize and store products in designated warehouse locations. Perform daily forklift inspections and basic equipment maintenance checks. Assist with material staging and production support activities. Follow all company policies, food safety standards, GMPs, and workplace safety procedures. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines. Qualifications Previous forklift operating experience required. Experience working in a warehouse, manufacturing, or food production environment preferred. Knowledge of inventory control and warehouse management systems is a plus. Strong commitment to safety and quality standards. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy. Mechanically inclined with the ability to perform basic equipment inspections. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Dependable attendance and punctuality required. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during the shift. Frequent bending, lifting, reaching, twisting, and repetitive movements. Ability to work in warehouse and production environments with varying temperatures. Comfortable working at elevated heights when necessary. Ability to work in confined spaces for cleaning, product clearing, or operational support when required. Ability to work in a loud production environment;hearing protection will be provided. Work Environment Food manufacturing and processing facility. Fast-paced production environment. Exposure to machinery, forklifts, dust, noise, and varying temperatures. Must follow all food safety, GMP, and PPE requirements.
