Job Title:

Forklift Operator - Swing Shift Job Description This role combines forklift operation with hands-on general labor in a fast-paced airfreight environment. You stage and load trays for airfreight, handle inventory and picking tasks, and perform frequent manual labor to support efficient warehouse and freight operations. Responsibilities Operate a forklift safely and efficiently to move, stage, and load cookie trays and other freight for air transport. Perform general labor tasks, including frequent lifting, carrying, and manual handling of materials throughout the shift. Stage and organize cookie trays and related freight in designated areas to ensure timely loading for airfreight schedules. Load and unload freight from trucks and staging areas, ensuring accuracy and proper placement for air shipment. Support inventory activities by locating, picking, and preparing items for shipment according to instructions. Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency in a fast-paced warehouse and airport environment. Follow all safety procedures and operational guidelines while working around forklifts, freight, and airport-related equipment. Collaborate with team members and shift partners to complete daily workload within scheduled shift hours. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Hawthorne, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
