Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious Cherry Picker Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently operating cherry pickers and other heavy equipment to pick, pack, and organize products within a fast-paced warehouse environment. Your expertise in equipment operation, materials handling, and warehouse management will ensure smooth order fulfillment and optimal inventory control. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a well-organized distribution process while maintaining high safety standards. Various shifts! Duties Safely operate cherry pickers, reach trucks, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, and pallet jacks to retrieve and store inventory across multiple warehouse zones Perform order picking with precision using various equipment such as pickers and forklifts, ensuring accuracy in fulfilling customer orders Load and unload shipments efficiently while adhering to OSHA safety guidelines and best practices for heavy equipment operation Conduct routine equipment inspections, mechanical troubleshooting, and minor repairs to maintain optimal functionality of all warehouse machinery Assist with shipping and receiving processes by verifying incoming goods against purchase orders and preparing outgoing shipments for dispatch Maintain accurate records within the warehouse management system (WMS), including inventory updates, order tracking, and equipment logs Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing materials handling tasks and ensuring a safe working environment for all team members Experience Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as reach trucks, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, or similar machinery in a warehouse setting Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control procedures Prior experience in order picking, shipping & receiving, or materials handling is highly preferred Familiarity with OSHA safety standards related to forklift operation and heavy equipment use Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic repairs and troubleshoot equipment issues effectively Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during daily operations Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and documentation purposes Join our team as a Cherry Picker Operator if you're eager to bring energy, precision, and safety awareness into a thriving warehouse environment.
