GENERAL JOB DUTIES
Work the hand stack stations at Tetra lines. Hand stack as needed including providing break and lunch relief. Move, stack, or place product onto the pallet in accordance with the pallet build pattern. Pack product in boxes by hand. Must be able to lift, carry and transfer up to 40 pounds on a consistent basis. Sort, bundle, and fill containers or place in assembled units. Mark or put identifying labels on product loads. Construct or de-construct shipping boxes. Maintain general housekeeping of the assigned area. Complete all required paperwork accurately and legibly. Report quality and operational issues or irregularities to supervisor or foremen as they occur. Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations, regarding health and safety issues. Follow all DFA/Stremicks good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements. Perform any other duties as designated by supervisor and/or management. Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent preferred Manufacturing work experience 1 year Certification and/or License - may be required during course of employment Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Able to follow directions and carry out instructions Able to effectively work in a team environment Able to legibly write entries for record keeping Able to work in a fast-paced environment Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals Must be able to read, write and speak
English Physical Demands:
Must be able to stand and walk for 8-12 hour shifts Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. Typical Manufacturing enviroment An Equal Opportunity Employer including Disabled/Veterans
