GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The Loader is responsible for the accurate loading of all trucks and in a timely matter.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Must be able to handle multiple tasks on a daily basis. Must make sure that the truck inspection is done, and the sheet is filled-in properly and entirely BEFORE you start loading. Make sure that the ICC restraint bar is positioned accordingly before they enter the trailer. Communicate with the driver on loading instructions. Must fill out any necessary information on pick ticket, which includes how many pallets, location, missing product and who authorized any subs or cuts. Fill out "staging" schematic where all pallet tags are entered. Must fill out trailer schematic for pallet positions Communicate to Manager or Expediter on any missing product Turn in paperwork accurately to dispatcher Wait for dispatcher to verify load. Must wait for next order before anything else. Must communicate safety and mechanical problems as they arise. Fill out daily forklift inspection reports Be able to follow instructions, procedures and company policies. Must be able to load 300 case an hour average (minimal)

EDUCATION AND /OR EXPIERENCE

High School Diploma required A minimum of one (1) year forklift operator experience True Leaf Farms is an equal opportunity employer.
