Steel Body Shop Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Forklift Operator to join our team in a fast-paced steel body shop environment. This position requires operating a forklift safely and efficiently, along with performing general labor and heavy lifting as needed to support daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate a forklift to move, load, and unload steel materials and products Transport materials throughout the facility safely and efficiently Perform heavy labor tasks, including lifting, stacking, and organizing materials Assist with production, packaging, and shop cleanup as needed Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment Conduct basic equipment checks and report any issues

Requirements:

Previous forklift operating experience required Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50+ lbs) and physical labor throughout the shift Comfortable working in a steel or manufacturing environment Strong attention to safety and detail Reliable attendance and punctuality Ability to work independently and as part of a team Must be able to pass a background check (no prior misdemeanors or felonies)

Preferred Qualifications:

Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain) Experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or steel shop environment
