Woodland Cabinets Inc. is the latest addition to our rapidly growing network of nationwide locations, a leading wholesale distributor specializing in kitchen and bath cabinets. We are now hiring skilled warehouse associates/forklift operators proficient in maneuvering order pickers and swing reach forklifts, with a minimum of one-year of hands-on experience. Your main task will be operating a forklift with precision and a strong focus on safety. This position entails navigating various warehouse spaces with agility and care. The goal is to ensure timely and accurate placement of materials and products to enhance overall operational effectiveness.
Responsibilities include:
Efficiently unload incoming materials and merchandise and organize them in assigned locations. Transfer stock of products to pallets or racks for storage or shipment. Identify and report damages, shortages, or quality issues promptly. Transport raw materials to production workstations for seamless operations. Adhere to company policies and legal guidelines to ensure compliance. Contribute to maintaining a safe and organized environment within the facility. Handle both manual and equipment-assisted loading and unloading tasks, with additional responsibilities including stocking and inventory management during downtimes.
Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience as a forklift operator with keen attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment. Proven track record of safe operation of industrial vehicles. Excellent physical condition and coordination to handle the demands of the job. Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 25 - 75lbs, handling boxed materials with care. High-energy individuals with a strong work ethic capable of thriving in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
Job Type:
Part-time to Full-time, Monday - Friday, starting with 20-40 hours per week, in a schedule of 8 am to 5 pm Starting pay: from $18/hour
