$19 per hour Position Objective The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating a forklift to move, load, unload, stack, and relocate product and materials. This position supports production flow, inventory accuracy, and compliance with all food safety and workplace safety requirements. Key Responsibilities Safely operate a forklift to move raw and finished product Load/unload trucks and stage materials for processing Maintain accurate inventory tags and documentation Follow all GMPs, HACCP, food safety, and Cal/OSHA safety procedures Communicate effectively with team members to support production flow Perform daily equipment inspections and report issues Perform other duties as assigned to support operations Qualifications High School Diploma or GED 1+ year forklift experience (warehouse or food facility preferred) Strong safety record Ability to work in fastpaced environments and cold storage Good coordination, attention to detail, and inventory awareness Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate equipment for extended periods Reasonable accommodations may be made for qualified individuals with disabilities Work Environment Warehouse and production setting, including cold storage Regular exposure to outdoor conditions, including hot weather and seasonal temperature extremes PPE required.
