2 positions available Gainesville construction supply house is looking for reliable, safety-minded Forklift Operators to join their Gainesville team. This is a great opportunity for candidates with forklift experience who are comfortable working in a fast-paced building supply, warehouse, or construction material environment. Forklift Operators will help keep materials organized, loaded, unloaded, and ready for customer orders and deliveries. This role requires someone who can work safely, communicate well with the team, and handle physical warehouse duties throughout the day.

Responsibilities:

Safely operate a forklift to move, load, unload, and stage building materials Load and unload trucks, trailers, and customer vehicles Organize warehouse and yard inventory so materials are properly stored and easy to locate Assist with preparing materials for orders and deliveries Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe Inspect materials and report damage, shortages, or safety concerns Work closely with warehouse, yard, and delivery team members to keep workflow moving efficiently Follow all company safety policies and procedures

Requirements:

Forklift experience required Prior warehouse, building supply, lumber, drywall, construction, or material handling experience preferred Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical labor throughout the shift Dependable attendance and ability to work overtime Comfortable working 50-60 hours per week Ability to work safely in a warehouse/yard environment Good communication skills and attention to detail High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Schedule and Pay:

This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday from 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Associates can expect approximately 50-60 hours per week. Starting pay is $18.00 per hour. Why Apply?
