Warehouse Supervisor/Forklift Operator

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Warehouse Supervisor/Forklift Operator to join our logistics team. In this vital role, you will oversee daily warehouse operations, manage Inventory Control and ensure efficient distribution processes. Your leadership will help streamline warehouse activities, maintain safety standards, and support our commitment to timely shipping and receiving. Responsibilities Supervise warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and materials handling to ensure smooth operations. Operate forklifts and other heavy machinery safely to move materials within the warehouse, adhering to OSHA safety standards. Manage inventory control processes using ERP platforms to maintain accurate stock levels. Coordinate logistics and oversee warehouse distribution to meet delivery deadlines efficiently. Lead a team of warehouse staff, providing training on safety procedures, equipment operation, and process improvements. Conduct audits of inventory accuracy and implement process improvements for increased efficiency. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and promote a safe working environment for all team members. Provide management of facilities maintenance acting as Liaison with corporate and landlord to resolve any issues affecting Inmark, Jacksonville - facility. Work closely with customer service, Sales staff and Operations to ensure clients supply is timely. Skills Extensive experience in warehouse management and supervision within a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with warehouse management systems and logistics software such as 3PL platforms. Strong knowledge of inventory management, shipping & receiving procedures, and materials handling techniques. Mechanical knowledge related to forklift operation and maintenance of warehouse equipment. Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively while fostering a safety-first culture aligned with OSHA standards. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory control and process improvement initiatives.

Pay:

$24.00 - $26.50 per hour
