This role offers immediate start opportunities and weekly pay, making it an excellent choice for motivated individuals eager to contribute to efficient warehouse distribution. You will operate various types of heavy equipment, including forklifts, reach trucks, clamp trucks, and Hi-Lo lift trucks, to handle materials safely and accurately. Your expertise will ensure smooth shipping and receiving processes, order picking, and inventory management while adhering to strict safety standards. If you thrive in a physically active role that requires mechanical knowledge and attention to detail, this position is perfect for you! Duties Safely operate forklifts, reach trucks, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and Hi-Lo equipment to load and unload shipments efficiently Perform order picking using warehouse management systems (WMS) and manual methods to fulfill customer orders accurately Manage shipping and receiving tasks by verifying inbound and outbound shipments against documentation Conduct routine equipment inspections and minor repairs to ensure machinery remains in optimal working condition Assist with warehouse management activities such as inventory counts, stock replenishment, and materials handling Follow OSHA safety standards and warehouse safety protocols during all operations to prevent accidents and injuries Support warehouse distribution operations by coordinating with supervisors on load & unload schedules and ensuring timely delivery Experience Proven experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, or other heavy equipment in a warehouse or distribution center setting Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for order picking and inventory control Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to materials handling and heavy equipment operation Prior experience in shipping & receiving processes, including load & unload procedures Mechanical aptitude for basic equipment repair and troubleshooting of forklifts or similar machinery Warehouse supervisor experience or familiarity with warehouse management best practices is a plus Strong manual handling skills with the ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper form Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and documentation accuracy This role offers an energetic work environment where your skills directly contribute to our operational success.
