Job Description

The Shipping/Forklift Driver plays a key role in preparing products for shipment and representing the company when assisting customers with pickups. This role requires attention to detail, urgency, and accuracy when packing and loading shipments. As a member of the Shipping & Receiving Team, you may also be asked to support other departments as business needs arise. Key Responsibilities Follow all shipping procedures to prepare, wrap, and stage products for shipment to company standards. Assist in designing packaging solutions for new products. Load shipments onto trucks accurately and safely. Provide backup support to Receiving or other departments as needed. Assist with inventory counts and audits. Actively participate in process and system improvements. Ensure all work meets quality standards. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by cleaning continuously throughout the shift. Meet company productivity and quality targets. Follow all safety policies outlined in the Associate Safety Manual. Demonstrate Earnest Products' Core Values and comply with all company policies. Maintain regular, reliable attendance. Work overtime as required, with flexibility to stay until trucks are fully loaded (especially at month-end). Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and reliable attendance. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English. Self-motivated with excellent communication skills. Strong team player with a willingness to learn and assist where needed. Forklift certification preferred; minimum of 2 years forklift experience required. Valid driver's license required. Basic computer skills required. Working Conditions Clean, air-conditioned facility. Safety glasses required on the plant floor at all times. Gloves and hearing protection required as needed. No use of earbuds or cell phones while operating forklifts or equipment. Physical Demands Ability to kneel, bend, lift, and move throughout the shift. Frequent use of hands, arms, and legs for lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and material handling. Standing for extended periods of time. Regular lifting of up to 50 lbs. unassisted and up to 70 lbs. with equipment or team assistance. Use of PPE (safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection) as required.
