What you'll do: The •Forklift Operator•plays a key role in supporting safe and efficient operations by moving, loading, and organizing materials. This position ensures accurate handling of products, supports order fulfillment, and contributes to a well-organized and productive work environment. + Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently + Load, unload, and move materials within the yard, warehouse, or facility + Transport materials between storage, staging, and loading areas + Pull, stage, and prepare orders accurately for delivery or production + Verify quantities and inspect materials for accuracy and quality + Assist with organizing and maintaining inventory + Support drivers, team members, and customers with material handling needs + Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment + Report damaged materials, discrepancies, or safety concerns + Follow all safety policies and procedures + Perform additional duties as needed What you'll bring: + Experience operating forklifts or similar equipment preferred + Ability to safely handle and move materials of varying sizes and weights + Strong attention to detail and basic math skills + Good communication and teamwork skills + Reliability and a strong commitment to safety + Experience in warehouse, yard, or construction-related environments + Familiarity with building materials or industrial products + Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift + Ability to lift and move materials as required + Ability to perform work in indoor and/or outdoor environments + Comfortability with exposure to varying weather conditions and equipment operation + Ability to work extended hours based on business needs What you'll earn: + Health Care Benefits + Paid Time Off _Benefits for union‑represented roles are determined by the applicable collective bargaining agreement and may differ from standard company benefits._ •_QXO is an Equal Opportunity Employer._•_We value diversity and do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, gender or sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, or any other protected status._
