Forklift Operator - Production Support

FORKLIFT OPERATOR - PRODUCTION SUPPORT

SHIFT:

2nd (2:00p-10:20p)

Key Responsibilities:

Supply production lines with raw materials to ensure uninterrupted operations Remove bins from machines for storage in the warehouse or direct loading onto trailers Manage and dispose of waste bins according to established procedures Follow scanner instructions for required material movements Execute work orders prioritized by the supervisor (via SharePoint, written, or verbal instructions) Adapt to changing priorities and assignments as directed by management Prepare, package, store, and load materials within required timelines Ensure cleanliness and organization of work areas (5S standards) Maintain quality, stability, and proper stacking of goods and packages Complete end-of-shift reports documenting all activities performed Assist team members as needed

Production Support:

Supply production equipment (profiling, painting, welding) with materials such as: wood, slats, pallets, powders, chemicals, packaging materials, welding wire, hooks, and raw parts Ensure continuous material flow to prevent production downtime

Warehouse & Logistics:

Load customer trucks according to product specifications Store finished goods from production appropriately Move materials within the warehouse as directed Participate in inventory counts and cycle counting

Safety & Compliance:

Report damages, issues, or anomalies to the supervisor Follow environmental and waste management guidelines Charge forklift batteries as required Maintain professional and courteous interactions with drivers Perform 5S audits as assigned

Qualifications:

Knowledge of warehouse operations and procedures Familiarity with products and materials handling Experience using scanning devices INDCal
