Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sorting pallets base on size and condition. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Sort good pallets from bad pallets. Track scrap pallets based on size and condition while loading on a designated trailer. Sort slip sheet, cardboard and plastic from pallets and putting in designated areas. Operate forklifts to transport pallets around the warehouse and load on trailers. Perform heavy lifting and manual handling of pallets as needed. Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and efficiency. Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and compliance with OSHA regulations. Participate in training sessions for new equipment or processes as required. Qualifications Proven experience as a Forklift Operator or in a similar role within a warehouse setting. Familiarity with warehouse management systems is preferred. Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the shift. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to forklift operation is essential.
