Job Description
- Only qualified Forklift Operator candidates located near the Covington, Georgia area will be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence
- Required Education
- High school diploma or equivalentRequired Certifications
- Required forklift license or certificationRequired experience
- 1+ year of warehouse experience or related experience and or training
- Basic skills in material handling and management logistics or manufacturing production
- Ability to read write interpret and comprehend documents written in English
- Ability to perform basic math calculations
- Ability to work effectively in a metrics driven environment
- General computer skills
- Ability to follow clearly defined standard operating procedures and quality guidelines
- Preferred Experience
- Experience operating forklifts conveyors cranes handcarts and power trucks
- Experience moving materials parts assemblies and finished products within a plant or warehouse
- Experience maintaining material handling records

- Ability to work in hot summer conditions and cold winter conditions
- Ability to work in moderate to loud noise levels
- Ability to work around vibration extreme weather conditions and fumes or airborne particles
- Ability to occasionally work at heights or in precarious places
- Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts conveyors cranes handcarts and power trucks to move materials parts assemblies and finished products
- Transport materials within the plant office or warehouse
- Follow standard operating procedures and established quality guidelines
- Complete routine tasks using prescribed steps and procedures
- Maintain accurate records as required
- Apply basic knowledge and skills to daily material handling activities
- Follow safety and operational requirements
- Communicate effectively with coworkers and Team Lead or Supervisor
- Perform duties under general to limited supervision
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
- Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- 9 00 AM to 5 30 PM
