Warehouse Supervisor/Forklift Operator PLR Last Mile Inc Pooler, GA Job Details Contract $18 - $22 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Lifting equipment Forklift Full Job Description Overview Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Supervisor and Forklift Operator, where you will lead daily warehouse operations, ensure efficient inventory management, and maintain a safe and organized distribution environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee warehouse processes, manage a dedicated team, and optimize logistics workflows to support our fast-paced e-commerce and third-party logistics (3PL) operations. Your expertise in warehouse management systems, materials handling, and process improvement will be vital in driving operational excellence. Duties Supervise daily warehouse activities, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillment. Operate and manage forklift equipment safely to handle heavy materials and facilitate efficient warehouse movement. Oversee inventory management processes to ensure accurate stock levels using warehouse management systems such as AS400 or similar platforms. Coordinate logistics for inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with safety standards. Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency, safety protocols (OSHA compliance), and materials handling procedures. Manage team performance through training, scheduling, and motivating staff to meet operational goals. Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, shipping & receiving logs, and safety inspections. Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse supervision or management within a fast-paced distribution environment. Valid forklift certification with demonstrated mechanical knowledge of forklift operation and maintenance. Strong understanding of inventory management, warehouse distribution, and logistics processes. Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) such as AS400 or equivalent platforms. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to materials handling and heavy lifting. Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster a collaborative work environment. Familiarity with e-commerce fulfillment processes, 3PL operations, shipping & receiving procedures, and materials handling equipment.
