Required Equipment Experience Candidates must have experience operating: Cherry Picker Reach Truck (Crown and Raymond) Electric Pallet Jack Candidates will be required to complete equipment testing during onboarding. Successful completion of the testing is required to continue in the assignment. Position Overview During the first few weeks, associates will support facility setup by: Taping floors and marking walkways Assisting with warehouse setup activities Supporting warehouse organization Equipment operation duties may vary throughout the shift based on operational needs. Once operational, employees will operate MHE equipment and perform warehouse duties.Job duties include:
Approximately 50% of the role involves operating Reach Trucks, Cherry Pickers, and Electric Pallet Jacks. Moving and storing materials Handling server racks and warehouse inventory Stocking, staging, taping, and banding products Preparing shipments General material handling and warehouse cleanup Must be able to lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs. Equipment operation may vary based on business needs and may not make up the entire shift. Associates must be willing to perform general warehouse work when equipment operation is unavailable. Important Requirements Have composite toe shoes or boots for their first day Can safely operate all required equipment Have the skills and experience necessary to pass equipment certifications Understand that equipment operation time will vary Are willing to perform warehouse duties when needed Can transition between equipment operation and warehouse work throughout the shift Must be able to work safely at heights of up to 30 feet Must comply with all customer site security requirements, including the no-metal policy. The amount of time operating equipment can vary from day to day, so flexibility is an important part of this assignment Orientation and Testing Orientation Tuesday, 10:00 AM- 1:00 PM Equipment Testing Wednesday, 8:00 AM
