Job Description

Responsible for operating material handling equipment to move, store, and track merchandise within the warehouse. Ensures safe, efficient forklift use while supporting order fulfillment, inventory accuracy, and adherence to safety standards.
Schedule:
6:00 am - 4:30 pm,
Mon, Tue, Fri, SatKey Responsibilities:
Operate forklifts and other equipment safely, following all proceduresComplete and document pre-use equipment inspectionsLoad, unload, move, and store products in designated areasPull, stage, and prepare orders for accurate shipmentVerify product type and quantities for inbound and outbound shipmentsPerform order picking and support timely fulfillmentMaintain shipping, receiving, and inventory documentationAssist with physical inventories and cycle countsRotate inventory according to company standardsIdentify and report discrepancies; support resolution effortsUse RF scanners for accurate inventory trackingReport hazards or incidents promptlyPerform additional duties as assigned
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED preferred6+ months forklift or warehouse equipment experience preferred; must pass certificationStrong attention to detail, basic math, and customer service skillsBasic computer and Excel proficiencyAbility to stand/walk 10-12 hours and lift 10-50 lbsFrequent bending, reaching, and liftingComfortable working in varying conditions and flexible with extended hours, weekends, and holidays Remedy is seeking a reliable self-motivated Forklift Driver for a local bread warehouse in Cedar Rapids, IA.
