Full Job Description Job Summary:
DMARC is on the move and currently seeking a full-time Warehouse Associate/Driver. If you want to be rewarded for your work while also being compensated with pay and benefits, please read on. This person will be responsible for the safe, accurate, and efficient movement of food and materials throughout the warehouse. This role supports receiving, storage inventory control, and distribution while maintaining high standards of food safety, organization, and teamwork. This is a full-time position working primarily Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m and one Saturday/month; occasional evening hours. Key Responsibilities Receiving & Put-Away Unload deliveries using pallet jacks or forklifts Inspect incoming product for damage, quality, and food safety compliance Verify quantities against packing lists and report discrepancies Label and store products in appropriate locations (dry, refrigerated, frozen) Accept donations from the general public with excellent customer service Order Fulfillment & Distribution Pick and stage mixed-case orders accurately and on time Load outbound deliveries safely and efficiently Ensure proper product rotation (FIFO/FEFO) Inventory Control Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory Accurately record product movements in inventory system Maintain clear product identification and traceability (lot codes, dates) Warehouse Organization & Safety Keep warehouse clean, organized, and hazard-free Follow all food safety and sanitation practices aligned with the FDA Food Code Operate equipment safely and report maintenance needs Follow all OSHA and organizational safety policies Team Support Work collaboratively with staff and volunteers from a variety of backgrounds Assist with special projects and warehouse needs as assigned Drive straight truck to pick up food rescue from retailers or deliver food locally to pantries one Saturday per month and as needed. Qualifications Required Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs throughout the work day Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods Basic math and counting skills Basic computer skills Strong attention to detail and reliability Ability to pass criminal and driver background check Ability to read and write in English Preferred Prior warehouse, logistics, or food handling experience Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain) Experience with inventory systems (e.g., Primarius or similar)
