Forklift Operator/Material Handler

Mon-Fri + occasional overtime We're looking for a dependable, hard-working person to help in our metal fabrication shop and yard. This is a hands-on job working with structural steel and fabricated parts. What you'll do: Load/unload steel materials using forklifts and overhead cranes (training provided) Assist in setting up, loading, and monitoring automated beam lines (training provided) Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on beam line machinery (training provided) Maintain a clean and organized work area, following housekeeping procedures Use tape measurers to verify part dimensions and ensure cut accuracy Assist with inventory checks and material staging as needed Keep materials organized and the shop clean What we need: Must work at least 40 hours per week, with overtime flexibility as required Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities Physically able to lift up to 50lbs regularly, stand or walk for up to 10 hours per day Comfortable working indoors & outdoors Pays attention and works safe Bonus if you have: Forklift and overhead crane experience Steel yard or fabrication shop background This is steady work with overtime available.
