In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of material handling equipment—including reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, and Hi-Lo forklifts—to efficiently load, unload, and organize inventory. Your expertise in warehouse management systems and inventory control will ensure smooth distribution processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in warehouse operations while contributing to a well-organized, efficient distribution center. Responsibilities Safely operate forklift equipment such as reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, pallet jacks, and load & unload heavy materials in accordance with OSHA and warehouse safety protocols Manage inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanning for logistics, and manual inventory counts to ensure accuracy Pick, pack, and prepare orders with precision using order picker equipment and manual handling techniques Load and unload shipments efficiently while adhering to safety standards in production and heavy equipment operation guidelines Conduct routine inspections and minor repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance Assist with shipping & receiving processes by verifying shipment details and maintaining accurate inbound/outbound logs Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing stock locations, replenishing inventory, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment Qualifications Proven experience operating warehouse material handling equipment such as reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, pallet jacks, or similar machinery Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and barcode scanning technology for logistics tracking Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to forklift operation and materials handling procedures Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following manual handling protocols Basic math skills for inventory counts and order accuracy verification Prior experience in shipping & receiving or warehouse distribution is preferred Excellent attention to detail with a focus on safety standards in production environments Join us today to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to excellence in warehouse management!
