Forklift Operator / Warehouse

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Forklift Operator / Warehouse professional to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling materials, operating heavy equipment, and maintaining smooth warehouse operations. Your expertise in forklift operation, warehouse management systems, and materials handling will ensure timely shipping, receiving, and inventory accuracy. Responsibilities Safely operate sitdown forklift to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse. Manage inbound and outbound shipments by verifying quantities, inspecting for damages, and ensuring proper documentation. Able to lift upto 50LBS. and Sorting cargo based on instruction. Assist with warehouse distribution tasks such as stacking pallets, organizing storage areas, and preparing goods for shipment. Conduct routine equipment repairs or report maintenance needs promptly to minimize downtime. Follow OSHA safety guidelines and best practices to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues. Requirements Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts , pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery. Mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic equipment repairs or troubleshooting. Familiarity with OSHA safety standards related to materials handling and heavy equipment operation. Ability to lift heavy loads consistently and perform physically demanding tasks safely. Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and documentation accuracy. Previous experience in shipping & receiving or warehouse distribution environments preferred. Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills; previous warehouse supervisor experience is a plus. Pay:

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
