Job Description
Job Overview We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating a forklift to move, load, unload, and organize materials throughout the warehouse. This position requires attention to detail, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Duties Safely operate a variety of forklift types such as reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, and Hi-Lo forklifts to load and unload shipments. Manage inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS) and barcode scanning technology for accurate logistics tracking. Perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and pallet jack operation to move materials within the warehouse. Execute order picking activities with precision to fulfill shipping requests efficiently. Conduct routine equipment inspections and minor repairs to ensure forklift safety standards are maintained. Follow OSHA guidelines and warehouse safety protocols during all operations to prevent accidents and injuries. Assist with shipping & receiving processes, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to warehouse distribution procedures. Skills Proven experience operating material handling equipment such as reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and Hi-Lo forklifts. Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems, inventory management, and barcode scanning for logistics accuracy. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to manual handling standards. Excellent understanding of materials handling techniques including load & unload procedures.
