Bolingbrook, IL Job Details Full-time $18 an hour 3 days ago Benefits Paid time off Qualifications Lifting equipment Computer operation Moving English Forklift Data entry Warehouse experience Truck loading and unloading Material handling equipment operation Full Job Description Cherry Picker & Sit-Down Forklift Driver - 1st Shift We are currently hiring an experienced Cherry Picker & Sit-Down Forklift Driver for a 1st shift position with a busy logistics company. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience operating both a cherry picker/order picker and sit-down forklift in a warehouse or distribution environment.

Responsibilities:

Safely operate a cherry picker/order picker and sit-down forklift . Pick, move, stage, and organize products throughout the warehouse. Load and unload trucks and trailers. Retrieve products from elevated warehouse locations using a cherry picker. Prepare orders for shipping and receiving. Verify product quantities, labels, and locations. Communicate clearly and professionally with truck drivers regarding dock assignments, loading, unloading, and trailer movement. Coordinate with drivers and warehouse personnel to ensure shipments are handled safely and efficiently. Use a computer to complete basic warehouse, shipping, receiving, and inventory-related tasks. Assist with inventory movement and general warehouse duties as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow all company safety procedures and forklift guidelines.

Requirements:

Previous cherry picker/order picker experience is required . Previous sit-down forklift experience is required . Logistics, warehouse, or distribution experience preferred. Must be 100% fluent in English, including speaking, reading, and understanding instructions. Must have basic computer skills and be comfortable entering or reviewing information on a computer. Must have strong communication skills and be comfortable communicating directly with truck drivers. Must be comfortable working at elevated heights. Must be able to safely load and unload trailers. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.

Pay:

$18.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
