Job Description
Reach Truck/Forklift Operator WeatherTech Direct is seeking a well-qualified Reach Truck/Forklift Operator to safely operate powered industrial vehicles and manual lifting devices to load/unload and transport material to and from storage areas, machines, and loading docks. The base hourly rate of pay starts at $22.00 per hour or more depending on experience. 2nd Shift receives a $1.00 differential and 3rd shift receives $1.50 1st shift-6am-2:30pm or 7am-3:30pm 2nd shift - 2:00pm-10:30pm or 3:00pm-11:30pm. 3rd shift 3pm-7:30am As a reach Truck/Forklift Operator, you will Operate forklifts and manual lifting devices to deliver material to production machines/workstations; distribute material/inventory using the first in-first out method Manually or mechanically load or unload material from pallets, skids, platforms, lifting devices, or other transport vehicles Inspect product load for accuracy and safely move it around the facility Organize all production material and inventory; use RF Scanner to scan material to appropriate locations and verify quantities are accurate; restock material in floor and rack locations Ensure that all necessary inventory is available for production use and coordinate the ordering of material/inventory Complete daily inspection of equipment and communicate maintenance needs or damage; charge/fill batteries Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of experience in operation and training of powered equipment with a clear understanding of forklift operations, weight capacities, and attachments 2+ years of steady experience operating a Reach Truck High school diploma or equivalent Be an excellent performer; deliver high-quality results consistently Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and a positive attitude Able to work well with and motivate a team Fluent in English and authorized to work in the United States Why you'll love working at WeatherTech Direct WeatherTech Direct is proud to offer employees a competitive salary and benefits package, opportunities for internal promotions and skill development, and a clean and safe workspace.
