Shifts & Pay:
$19.00/hr
Weekend Shift:
Friday, Saturday & Sunday | 6:00 AM - 7:30
PM Key Responsibilities:
As a Forklift Operator , you'll play a vital role in keeping warehouse and production operations running efficiently while ensuring materials are handled safely and accurately.
Your responsibilities may include:
Operating industrial forklifts to move, load, unload, stack, and relocate materials throughout the facility Loading and unloading trailers while ensuring shipments are accurate and free of damage Transporting materials between receiving, production, storage, and shipping areas Organizing and securing raw materials, finished goods, pallets, and inventory Scanning all material movements using an RF scanner Performing daily pre- and post-operation forklift inspections Reporting equipment issues, rack damage, inventory discrepancies, and safety concerns to supervisors Wrapping finished goods and preparing products for shipment as needed Maintaining accurate documentation related to inventory, quality, and safety Keeping equipment and work areas clean, organized, and operating safely Following all OSHA regulations, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), food safety standards, and company safety policies Assisting with other warehouse or production duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Previous forklift experience in a warehouse or food manufacturing environment Experience operating industrial forklifts safely and efficiently Experience using RF scanners and warehouse inventory systems preferred Ability to lift, move, and handle materials throughout the shift Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Commitment to workplace safety, food safety, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) Reliable attendance and excellent teamwork skills Why Work with Express Employment - Brookfield?
