• Position Overview We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Equipment Operator to join our team on second shift.

This role is essential to maintaining efficient plant operations, including the movement, sorting, and processing of recyclable materials. The ideal candidate is experienced, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced indoor environment. Key Responsibilities Operate equipment such as forklifts, balers, and wheel loaders Compact recyclable materials using a baler Transport large volumes of materials throughout the facility Load and unload trailers and railcars Stage and organize paper products for processing and shipment Assist in sorting materials efficiently and accurately Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment Must be able to lift 35 to 50 pounds Perform pre and post vehicle/equipment inspections Training & Development Training provided to identify different grades of paper Ongoing emphasis on workplace safety and operational efficiency Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of equipment or forklift operating experience High school diploma or GED required Forklift certification is a plus Strong attention to safety and detail Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume plant environment Benefits Weekly pay (every Wednesday) Full benefits package, including: Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) Paid holidays 401(k) with company match Pre-Employment Requirements All candidates must successfully complete: Drug screening Physical examination This job description is not an exclusive or exhaustive list of all job functions that an employee in this position may be asked to perform from time to time.
