Forklift and Crane Operator Duties:

• Pull slabs from the warehouse against pick tickets and stage them for daily truck routes
• Move slabs using overhead cranes and forklifts; load slabs onto our trucks and customer vehicles, ensuring loads are properly secured
• Unload inbound containers by forklift and arrange slabs correctly on racks
• Verify items and quantities against orders; check shipping documents for accuracy
• Perform quality control checks on inbound product and flag damage
• Assist with physical inventory counts and keep rack locations accurate
• Use a tablet/computer to scan and validate orders in our system
• Complete daily equipment checklists and basic preventative maintenance on forklifts and cranes
• Handle light facility upkeep — minor repairs, general cleanup, keeping the warehouse organized and safe
• Help customers and fabricators who come in for will-call pickups Experience requirements:
• 2+ years warehouse experience, forklift experience required.
• Our slabs run up to 137" x 79.5" and weigh over 1,000 lbs — heavy/oversized load experience strongly preferred. Slab, stone, or glass experience background is a big plus.
• Overhead crane experience preferred..
• Comfortable operating a tablet — our pick tickets and inventory run digitally.
• Able to regularly lift and move 50-70 lbs and work a physically demanding shift, including outdoor yard work year-round.
• Maintenance Proficiency — someone who can fix small things around the facility is preferred.
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-minded. This is a safety-sensitive position; slab handling has real risks and shortcuts aren't acceptable.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is required.
