10:00 PM - 6:00 AM (+$1.25/hr Summary Description The Material Handler I is responsible for the movement and flow of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods within the Thermoforming department. This role plays a key part in keeping production running efficiently while maintaining a strong focus on safety, organization, and quality. What You'll Be Doing Load and unload incoming and outgoing materials and products Perform roll splice operations Change and empty Gaylords and transport them to staging areas Inspect regrind material for contamination and ensure proper labeling Drain cyclones and socks to prevent material backup Stage rolls into roll carts and maintain proper material flow Operate forklifts, tugs, and pallet jacks safely Demonstrate knowledge of raw material types and handling procedures Follow all plant safety rules and guidelines Work closely with team members to meet production demands Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership We'd Love to Hear From You If You can sit or stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours) You can lift up to 50 lbs as needed You are comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures You have or are willing to wear steel-toe footwear You have experience in manufacturing (food, paper, plastic, or metal preferred) You have forklift experience in a manufacturing setting (2-3 years preferred) You have strong communication skills and work well in a team environment You are reliable and able to work overtime or weekends as needed Benefits At TOPPAN Packaging Americas, we offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package designed to support overall wellbeing.
