Job Description

Nexus Employment is hiring Material Handlers in the Watseka, Illinois area. Interviews are being scheduled immediately, apply now on Indeed. Full Time -
Weekly Pay Pay Rate:
$16.00/hour - $17.80/hour 1st
Shift:
Monday-Thursday 6am-4:30pm •Friday and Saturday as needed/scheduled
Responsibilities:
Operate power truck, hand lift trucks, high lift, order picker or proper equipment needed to move materials between operations and departments Requires recognition of different customer orders, assembling orders for shipment, recording shipment data, verification of packing lists, and bill of lading as needed Maintains tracking of purchase order quantities, receiving and unpacking material and supplies Reports damages and discrepancies for accounting, reimbursement, and record-keeping purposes Follow established safety practices in moving material, restacking unsafe load as necessary Maintain all work areas in a clean and orderly manner, placing material in designated areas Follow all safety practices Charge trucks after use and notify maintenance/supervisor of repairs or service Required to stand, walk, crouch, and use hands to finger, handle or feel object, tools, and controls. Must comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications:
Able to read, write, & follow instructions Must pass a Forklift test Ability to communicate well with others Excellent attendance High school diploma or equivalent
