This energetic position offers the opportunity to work with a variety of equipment, including sit down forklift and pallet jacks, while maintaining high safety standards. You'll be responsible for handling materials with precision, managing inventory, and supporting shipping and receiving processes to keep our distribution center running seamlessly. Responsibilities Operate various types of warehouse equipment such as forklift trucks to load, unload, and transport materials efficiently. Perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting and materials handling to support warehouse distribution activities. Assist with order picking, packing, shipping, and receiving processes to fulfill customer orders accurately and promptly. Conduct routine inspections of equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks; perform basic repairs or notify maintenance teams for repairs to ensure safety compliance. Follow OSHA safety standards and forklift safety protocols diligently to maintain a safe working environment for all team members. Support warehouse management by participating in stock audits, cycle counts, and maintaining organized storage areas. Qualifications Proven experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, order pickers, and load/unload machinery. Knowledge of warehouse operations including inventory management systems, shipping & receiving procedures, and heavy equipment operation. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely while adhering to OSHA regulations and safety standards in production environments. Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments or inventory levels. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for warehouse distribution tasks. Previous experience in warehouse supervision or leadership roles is a plus but not required. Valid certification in forklift operation or willingness to obtain certification upon hire is preferred. Pay:
$21.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 50.0 per week
